Description Name : Avina
Origin : Gerungia
Category : Scissor
Rank : Beta (2nd division)

"Don't care, I'm left handed !"

"The She-Wolf" Avina was born in Gerungia, a barbaric island that the Empire was never able to conquer. At 16 she was the best huntress of her tribe and at 18, she killed her first man in a battle against the Empire. When an imperial prisoner told her about the gladiatrix, powerful women who earn gold by fighting in an arena, she came to Urbia, the capital of the Empire, to become one of them.

Since she was a barbarian, she was at first pitted against wild animals and she was pretty good at it… until that day where she had to fight a northern tiger. Even a gladiatrix is in danger in front of a half ton killing machine and, since she won, it came with a physical price : she lost her right hand.
Normal gladiatrix would have give up and try to get another job, but no way for Avina, who adapted her style and decided to look for a more dangerous game : humans.

No way to earn by sweat that you can earn by blood !

Avina fights with a scissor in her mutilated arm : it’s an iron cuff with a crescent-shaped blade, completed by a chainmail manica. In her left hand, she uses an iron longsword with an anthropomorphic bronze handle. She has only a few protections : a leather bracer on her left hand and bandages on her legs. As a matter of facts, she counts more on the ritual paintings all over her body supposed to bring her the blessing of her gods.

And it seems to work, since Avina is known to be one of the most respected, and feared, gladiatrix in Urbia.
