Ooh boy..this was hard to draw. It may look basic, but it took me three or four hours to finish. I couldn't get the idea out of my head though. Here's a little explanation about the significance of a red ribbon:"This is a belief common to the Chinese, Japanese, and other Asian cultures, that two people who are destined to be together are connected by a red string, cord, or ribbon. This bond exists between soulmates from the moment of their birth and lasts as long as they're alive, and sometimes beyond. "
Okay..I can't lie. I love HitsuHina. I really do. And maybe, at some point, there will be potential for it to happen, but at the moment, its just too WEIRD to draw them fluffy and happy, unless they're children. So, I draw angst...and this is what I get.
At its current standing, this pairing is horribly one-sided(as all Hinamori pairings are..has -anyone- besides me noticed that? XD), which..I kinda sorta tried to get the feeling of in this picture. Hitsugaya is holding tightly to his end of the ribbon, whereas Hinamori is just letting hers fall. I want to explain that significance, I really do, but its one AM and I'm lucky I finished this drawing without completely murdering it.
.....And yes, I like drawing Hinamori in Hueco Mundo garments. D:

This is brilliant~! I love the concept of the ribbion. It easily understandable, and you could see that Hitsugaya-kun doesnt want his relationship with Hinamori-san to end, but Hinamori on the other hand, is still blinded by her admiration to Aizen, s too just how much she means to him. This is an exellent drawing, and I hope to see more like this. Great job~!

Mm..I believe I was thinking that Hinamori isn't really as aware of her relationship with Hitsugaya(or she just doesn't care), so her end of the ribbon is falling away. Hitsugaya is holding onto his because he doesn't want whatever sort of a relationship they have to end, because if he isn't tied to her, he might feel as if he can't protect her as well.
..Or something like that. x3;
