thought to be alone,pondering in the dark,
no sound all around,
and only darkness to touch,
my dreams were startled and stopped
by an explosion oh so soft....
no sound forewarned my stunned eyes,
only the half blinding, half soothing white light arose
and with it color was forced upon my world.
from the white light remains this unexpected color
so soft and pleasing to the eye,
i know not how i survived nights blackness before this soft explosion
