This is obviously inspired by the courtyard serie by coxi.I tried to get something as good as his last work, but I'm not really satisfied with the result.
By the way, this shot is really better than the others I took yestarday on the same subject, so I have at least one reason to be happy with this.
Maybe one day I'll try again with a tripod, but by now this is the best I can achieve.
Hope you like it at least a bit.
P.S: do not ever think that coxi's courtyard phots are just a "look up and shot" thing !

Il cavalletto ce l'avevo in realtà già a quei tempi, ma mi vergognai a portarlo dato che lì si affacciano tutti i bagni del palazzo e non volevo farmi vedere laggiù attrezzato con tanto di tripode...
Dovrei venire a fotografarti i pertugi?

per me questa é una gran foto ma forse come dici tu é da riprovare con un treppiede (come azz si scrive?) e con un diaframma piu piccolo f/16. Oppure prova con un USM (Unsharp mask in PS7) per aggiungere nitidezza.

Grazie. In realtà il diaframma è piccolo, mi pare di aver usato un f/14...mi sa che il problema è la mancanza del cavalletto, per cui la foto è leggermente mossa e quindi non perfettamente nitida. Scusa se non ho ancora commentato nessuno dei tuoi lavori, cercherò di farlo al piu' presto...

Wow this is really nice. I would recommend stopping down your aperture to something like f/13 - f/16 maybe, and then taking it again. This would make the parts of the building closest to you in focus as well.
But you know this shot is really quite amazing...

è semplicemente fantastica.. mi piace i senso di profondita e il mdo in cui gli spigoli facciano una croce quasi perfetta! bella la luce e itoni!!! credo che il buon vecchi Severin non avrebbe potuto fare di meglio... e in ogni caso credo che gli piecerebbe venire nel tuo cortile per fare anche lui una sua foto!!!

To be honest I like this one more as some of Severin's courtyard photographs.
The mix of windows, railings and pipes looks very interesting and the light at the end of the "tunnel" is really captivating.
