Yeah, I try to get back to it, but it somehow seems like DA is not the same as before anymore. It became colder, if I may say so.
People seem to communicate and connect way less.

DA got so huge that it's hard to connect with artist the way it used to be. I used to chat with almost forty artists, but these days I so rarely get a reply from and artist that I stopped bothering with commenting. Also the front page search engine is all screwed up so if I try to scroll through the new art it just recycles the same 20 or so pictures, it's a bug that makes it nearly impossible to look at stuff. Sigh. I do most of my chatting on IG now.

Do you hunt your own animals or do you buy the fur?

I am part of the taxidermy.net group and I get my skins/skulls directly from hunters. I have long considered learning to hunt, but I don't have anyone to teach me or to go hunting with.

I know tons of people with coyote. Head on over to taxidermy.net and check out the sales forum. If you are after wet tan you can go to eastcoastcapes.com they've got some beauties. If you're looking for dry tan www.hideandfur.com/inventory/6… has some *awesome* yote, but they are a little on the expensive side.
If you want raw fur there is no one better than Bob Went, he's on taxidermy.net forum.
