Description Xiaolin Showdown's Dojo meets his Western cousin! Dojo I drew from a couple of screenshots and the other Dragon I drew myself, basing it on Dojo. It didn't take very long to draw, and I coloured it after college today. It's not quite this green in the actual picture, the scanner enhanced the greens and ignored the darker shades. Technology for you....

Dojo belongs to Christy Hui, who created Xiaolin Showdown (and who I hope will decide to make a fourth series!).

Nice drawing, Phoenix! You're pretty good at making new characters look unique yet still making them recognisable as being derived from another character.

Maybe you should write an email and beg the producers for more XS.

Thank you! I've signed one of those online petitions I found. But other than that I will just wait and see. It's a popular show, maybe because of that Cartoon Network will decide to buy more episodes. I know for a fact that Christy Hui and some of the animators would be interested in making a new series.

Yeah, DA butchered the link. But I gave you instructions on how I found it, if not then I apologise....

Yeah, butchered.... It was the source of the picture I used to draw Dojo. Type 'Dojo Xiaolin Showdown' into the Google search engine and it was on page 12 of results. It's a picture of Dojo (in large form) looking at a daunted Raimundo.

Cool! How many other people have signed it?Well, they are encouraging signs.
Do you watch any other similar shows on Cartoon Network?

It didn't say how many, hopefully a lot. I liked Teen Titans, Beyblade and Dragonball Z as well but they have also been discontinued (except Beyblade but I doubt I'll watch it if it isn't about the same characters). Though at the moment I'm obssessed with Thunderbirds! XD

Cool! DragonBall Z was pretty good, I wish CN was still airing the original Dragonball episodes, when Goku was a kid. I remember Beyblades, but haven't heard of Teen Titans. Is Thunderbirds the one about an international rescue organisation that uses advanced equipment etc? Who's your fav character?

Yeah, that's the one. My favourite character is Scott Tracy. The Thunderbird he pilots, Thunderbird 1, is also my favourite.
Dragonball confused me a bit. Why they aired Dragonball Z and Dragonball GT before they showed that I will never know....

It looks like a pretty cool thunderbird, with the pointy sharp tip and all those big rocket blasters on the back (can you tell I haven't watched it? lol). Are the character's appearances in the series along the lines of those in Team America? They look sort of similar-ish (I doubt very much that the personalities are the similar, lol).
Yeah, I agree Dragonball kinda goes against chronological order. According to Wikipedia DB was aired for a very short time, then cancelled due to low ratings and replaced with DBZ, which became popular, then they brought back DB later. Speaking of such, I believe there is a DragonBall film coming out next year.

Yeah, I heard that as well. Though I will decide whether I like the sound of the movie or not when they release a trailer.
As for Thunderbirds, I've never seen Team America, so I can't really compare them.

I think that's pretty good as well. Though my favourite drama of sorts has to be Primeval. I'm pretty sure the first season of it has aired in the US now.

Phoenix-Flyer In reply to Kumori-Iki [2008-09-13 20:41:48 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, there were three series. The first one was where the climax was Wuya becoming human and Raimundo joining her side. The second one ended with Omi turning into a cat because he joined Chase Young. And the final series ended with Raimundo being chosen as the leader.
