So, turns out out Jude's boss was not only a gambling addict with serious debts to a dangerous band of criminals, he was also a first class coward.
While a massive grizzly bear called Bruin held him down and a white cat with long, wild black hair mercilessly beat down on him, he begged that they'd take the bunny (who was currently tied and gagged in a supply closet) instead.
"Her dad's rich! You can make much more from her ransom than me, just take her and give me a few more months!!"
The wolf and bear went off to retrieve their price, but the cat, Xander, stayed behind just bit longer to give their victim a painful reminder that the Fangs Of Midas would be back for him soon.

And that's how Jude found herself being dragged off to a rickety van in the office parking lot by Silver and Bruin, her cries for help and protests muffled by the thick cleaning rags crammed deep into her maw and sealed behind wraps of tightly wound tape.
She desperately tried to go over the people that could possibly come to rescue her at this hour as the fumes of the chloroform-soaked cloth pressed against her face dragged her into a deep darkness...
