Another character portrait from the novel(s) I'm working on in my spare time. (In truth, I'm sort of taking a break while I get settled in with my partner. It's good to finally have the time to do some art).

Gendo Kotoko, Ruling Lord of the Tigrin Clan and father of Kataya Kotoko ([link] ) is a fierce warrior with a steady, earthen soul. He lost his eye long ago, not that it ever slowed him up, but the loss of his mate by the hands of an unusual foe was more than enough to make this once proud leader stumble. Only time will tell if he can regain his lost honor.

I haven't had a chance to scan this one yet, so you can expect an edit in probably a week when I can get back to my scanner (it hasn't made the move yet). The image is much more crisp than this crummy photo shows, but I'm sure you get the idea.
