Those of you who have been keeping up with the HeartGold and SoulSilver news over the past few months will know that you can have any Pokémon you choose follow you around as Pikachu did back in Pokémon Yellow--even if it's really freaking crazy awkward huge, like Wailord or, if it's, oh, I dunno, God, like Arceus. You can interact with this Pokémon the way you interacted with Pikachu, too, although up until now there weren't many screens or trailers of anything other than these "companion Pokémon" using Cut or Rock Smash or whatever.

Well, a few days ago a few new HGSS trailers came out, and one of them shows Gold interacting with his Tyranitar. When he spoke to it, it hopped up and down gleefully and one of those little smilies appeared over its head... I mean, I guess I don't know what else I was expecting given the limited graphic options they'd have for that sort of thing, but the mental image of a :3-ing Tyranitar was just too good to pass up. So I drawed it. And you will never ever be able to look at Tyranitar the same way again. You're welcome.

...yes, yes, Wailord is still the ultimate in "WTF were you thinking letting this thing follow me around, Game Freak", but Wailord can't skip and imagining a Tyranitar with a big :3-face is funnier anyway.
