I could imagine owning a place such as this where I would be quite happy and content haha
Jana did you know that King George the lll of England hired Hessian soldiers to fight against the American militias during our war for independence from Britain in 1776 ..thinking that some British troops had relatives in the American rebel forces and would not fight but the idea backfired cause the Americans who were still technically British subjects at the time were offended that their king hired foreigners to fight against them totally pissing off the Americans that we're still not sure whether or not to join the war for independence and well the rest is now history

I'm sure many died here in small skirmishes and unfortunately, most have no marked graves ...about 20 miles from my home I once found a small poorly marked grave containing the remains of 4 hessian soldiers it had a small iron plaque noted the spot along the side of a road, the only reason I found it was that me and a friend were drinking so we pulled over to find a spot to pee ..that when I spotted it and no my dear we did not pee on it ..as a former soldier myself I would never do that ...the biggest battle they had here was not really a battle at all on Christmas eve 1777 general Washington and his troops crossed the Potomac River to Trenton new jersey at night to attack the hessian fort there when morning came the Americans attacked only to find the majority of Hessians either sleeping or passed out from too many Xmas celebrations I think something like only 5 Hessians died mostly were lookouts , no Americans died but they captured the entire garrison barely firing a shot ..gen washington let them march out of the fort minus their weapons of course which I'm sure was quite embarrassing for the troops and their officers especially cause they were a well-trained europian styed army and were beaten by at that time a poorly trained colonial american army ...when the war of indepedence started there was no american army to speak off ..at first it was older veterains of the indian wars some woodsmen but mostly untrained farmers ... anyway after this the hessians, for the most part, pulled out and went back home ...

WOW!
Ich bin, was

history was my favorite class in school ..when I went to university, history was my major ...my plan was to become a history teacher till I was sadly interrupted by my father's death meaning I needed to leave school to help my mother run the family business ...then just before I was to return to school i was called up to active service by the army national guard ...unfortunately I never did make it back to university...
sorry if I bored or annoyed you with my history, I just mentioned it cause of the hessian connection have a great week Jana

So Paul,
Also jetzt zum 3x.
Heute kannst du machen, was du willst.
