Rye, New Hampshire -- The morning sun was peaking through some thick clouds down upon Rye Beach as there was actually a line of thunderstorms bearing down on the area. Rare to have morning thunderstorms around here, and in general, really. I went from there up to Berwick, Maine chasing storms and settled for a small development to watch the lightning. It wasn't much of a storm, but it certainly got dark out. Down in Rye Beach I wasn't sure what it was, but it looked almost like a funnel cloud. But it disappeared so quickly that I'm sure it wasn't one.
