Description
The weather and the sky over certain days of the year are so clear that I can almost see the details of the mountain Olympus which is no more than twenty kilometers away. Those days I can almost hear the mountain calling me "I want to be photographed". It's like a siren call, I just cannot resist.

So three days ago, I left from work in a hurry. I had to go home, take my equipment, change clothes and cover 45klm of an almost unknown road in the mountain. It was a race for Light. I got lost three times, asked a shepherd for directions, called a cousin without success (no signal reception) and the sun was setting very quickly.

When I finally arrived to the place, the sun had already set or so I thought. I got but then some sunrays slowly hit the peaks as a cloud moved away. It was the moment I was waiting for and I started shooting...

Some geography now.
The second peak from the left is called Mitikas and is the highest peak of Olympus and also of Greece at 2918 meters. It may not seem to be the highest but it is. The other two peaks are also the second and third highest peaks accordingly. The valley that I'm in is called Kserolaki (Ξερολάκι) meaning dry pit.
