I wanted to practice some focus stacking and when I saw this flower I immediately had a vision about a nice image. First I tried with 8 exposures, but that turned out to be a too little. This image is stacked using 18 exposures in Zerene Stacker.Related content

Yes you got it! Every image in the stack is of the same subject (I had the camera mounted on a tripod) but with different parts in focus every time. For every shot you basically adjust the focus slightly. Finally the Zerene Stacker software combines all parts that are in focus into a single image.
