Absolutely aesthetically liberating. The gym shoes don't matter, this is a beautiful shot. The lack of direct lighting gives it a sensual tone, which makes the picture itself jump out.

At first I thought it was really... odd, like the emo kids with a camera... but the more I look at it, the more I appreciate the feel of the piece. It really does express the feeling of freedom quite eloquently. Free of society's pressures in dress and act, free of civilization, and yet, the model does not look happy. I get the same feeling from this peace as the line "And Brother is beautiful..." She's free, but she's not neccesarily kosher with that. It's a moving piece, and the scenery is lovely.
