Overall

Vision

Originality

Technique

Impact

This is so very close to excellence I had to write a quick one on it. I really like the working of perspective in this piece. The sliding of vision follows from the closest and largest, being the wheel at the lower left, to the most distant in the trees at the top-right. It's very good, especially with the way the model is worked into the scene in the same way. Her right leg extended forward and down while her head is looking up and right. The scene is very vivid and full of stuff to look at. I really want to know just what this place is and how it came to be there. Further how it came to be a garden of sorts.

The thing I think holding it back is that some of the colors match a little too much. The model's shorts and the carriage seat's back. her skin tone with the wood. She doesn't blend in so much as get a little bit lost. I had to look a couple times to be sure what pose she was in.

Otherwise nice work. I love it.

It looks, sort of, painted at first then you see the details are completely of a real photo . . . I had to take three closer looks to make sure. All in the location for this female's pose to come off more fantasy than actual tree houses at first. Very captivating image.

Wonderful Photo, but I am slightly confused by the focus in it. It is like there is no foreground even tho the wheel and leaves to the left acts as one. The background however is clearly there as we see behind the treehouses. have the focus been altered in anyway or is simple the result great shot using long focal length?

I'd like to offer some constructive criticism or promote a discussion on this image. It is my opinion that whilst you have a great, almost otherworldly scene, it is too busy. One strength of a lot of your work is a well defined subject, but here I feel there is too much to look at. Even just cropping the left quarter of the picture close to the girl's foot makes for a stronger and more defined image, I think. A crop also makes use of the diagonal beam to draw the eye to the girl's face better. I tried it just using MS Paint for a quick look. Please let me know your thoughts.

All the best, I really like your stuff.

I am a major fan of your incredible work and this image is extraordinarily mesmerizing. I too am awestruck at this image's mass appeal. I would like to know if this is a photograph and without having to get into a debate as to "is it a photograph or is it digital art" I do ask the question. I am thinking I see layers of digital art correction and light changes and enhancements or am I just all messed up from staring at the hundreds of thousands of images I have viewed in dA alone. I would be most happy and impressed (I am impressed anyways generally always with your art) to know this is close to your original capture and maybe had a little retouching as it was once referred and that it has not undergone mass digital enhancement. I would be still impressed if it is digitally enhanced as it is wonderful, but I would be totally blown away and unbelievably amazed if it has had little done to it. Great place by the way. Totally admire your attention to detail and your taste for locations and model subjects. Your career story is very interesting as is your work. You would make a great movie subject. There should be two versions I imagine. The Disney version and then theΒ Martin Scorsese or Quentin Tarantino, or yourself. Keep up the amazing work anyway you do it.Β  Β  Β
