i love the dreamy mood.....like just woken up, in between a world up in the clouds and Earth heven (that our life is if we have eyes to see........)

when it comes to model eating-she seams old enough to take care of her self

Well said. She is a grown person and probably doesn't need a photographer (or a random stranger on the internet) to feed her.

Stunning use of light, sir. Beautiful work, as usual.

sorry if this is redundant.

what could have been a simple over-exposed snap shot became a high-key artistic photo with dappled shapes - interesting and surreal piece. well done.

i love how the slight over exposure gives it a dreamy look. I have to dissagree with both of the comments below.

First off covering her "woman hood" would make this look more posed, right now its very natural, when i hop in the shower i dont hide my parts. Having her do so would turn this into something unnatural.

Second, she doesnt look unhealthy, she just looks like she has a very thin build. Believe it or not some people are made very thin from birth and thats how they are, and other people are built to be much wider, or fatter. As long as she is health, who cares if she is thin.

Thank you for saying that! I too, love this photo, but I hate how just because people are thin, everyone has to complain. It doesnt mean you have an eating disorder or you are unhealthy. Usually fat people are the ones who bitch about skinny people. Why is everyone so obsessed with other people and the way they look? I think this model is beautiful, real, and that actually, her thin physique flows so wonderfully with the lighting of this picture. It feels like a real person caught in a perfect moment more than a "model" trying to pose to make a planned image. Usually the most lovely things are natural, and that is exactly what she is. I totally agree with you how it would make it look too posed or processed and unnatural by covering something that is human and raw. We shouldnt be afraid of seeing things they way they really are. whats wrong with the human body? What is wrong with natural unplanned moments...?

yeah well maybe not only fat people complain abouth thin ones. it's not a very intelligent statement..anorexia's not just a "complaint"..

Rev66 In reply to Waldo23 [2009-11-17 17:48:31 +0000 UTC]

I personally never said just fat people complain about it, either way it shouldnt be a complaint... Just because she is thin does not mean she has an eating disorder. 2 of my sisters are extreamly thin, and perfectly healthy, its the way they were born and have always been. Some people are just thin.

you're so right, rev! in all points you were talking about!

i also like the bright natural window light and what it does to the water coming out of the shower

of course she's thin. but usually thin people are a thorn in the flesh of jealous fatties only. like "feed her! make her as fat as i am!" ... but in the fast-food-addicted usa everybody who's on a diet or slim (not even skinny) is (or must be) anorexic in the us media. i love skinnies and i'm not ashamed to tell this. it's just mean to tell her to eat! it's the same if people would comment photos of chubby girls with something like "don't eat so much - look at yourself! you're disgusting..." (think about it!)

anyway ... great photo!

Thank you subsonic. telling a thin model to eat, is like telling a thicker model to diet. These comments are not needed. in no way does it inform the photographer how he is doing, or the skill at which the model is modeling. I love women of all shapes and sizes, do not chastise one for not being the other.

Tanager In reply to subsonic76 [2009-11-09 03:08:24 +0000 UTC]

I'm not saying she's too thin - but eating disorders among women is a real and serious issue, not something that just "jealous fatties" are concerned about. Some people are concerned about the glorification of unusually thin bodies, and rightly so.

subsonic76 In reply to Tanager [2009-11-09 05:27:44 +0000 UTC]

You're right, Tanager! Eating disorders aren't funny!! But people, telling her to eat, must be sure she doesn't eat, so they're assuming she must have an ED. Like people telling fat people to stop eating so much, are assuming they'd eat 24/7...

These comments are totally sensless - they're only insulting the model...

And of course - it's always a matter of taste

Tanager In reply to subsonic76 [2009-11-11 03:18:13 +0000 UTC]

Sure sure, that kind of stuff annoys me too. I get it all the time! I'm just saying that sometimes people are concerned about a model's health, and it's not always meant as spiteful.

Pavel, your photos are stunning, but why are your models so thin? It scares me every time I see them. :/
