You could add a bubble "Where´s that stupid Titanic?" and make it a feature-cartoon for the Titanic´s anniversary this year ^^

I like trying new things - it gives my poor little brain something to do and often expands my knowledge of the product (DS4Pro in my case) and sometimes manages to find something in my runtime not previously used (or used much).

Since I've been using Poser from the version 3 up to the last version, you can imagine the size of my runtime...
I don't have kept everything, but Poser 7's runtime "Poses" folder needs numerous minutes to scan, so that I rarely open it

My runtime is a mess - inasmuch as it is all tipped into a single location. I really need to tidy it up! And yes, the DAZ installers... if all goes well it involves 1 double-click (start the .exe) plus 13 more clicks.

If I'm not wrong: as D|S is Poser compatible, you should be able to mode to "Poses" folders altogether, couldn't you? I mean: re-organize them for example by Subject?

No, no, no and no.
Don't say 'total idiot', unless you're talking of Daz!
This is their software, and it's their fault if they never provided a way to keep it clean.
Furthermode, their data installer is a nightmare generator because it pushes everything towards the Big Entropy: no way to escape, except to dive into D|S's folders.

I tend to agree, but then I also found that with Poser: there was no obvious explanation of where and how to install stuff. At least with DAZ it goes to a place where it 'should be'.
I now know better, and could/should be installing to places I want stuff to go - effectively multiple runtimes.

Starting with Poser 8, it's far easier to maintain more than one runtimes.
For example, I'm using Poser 7, Poser Pro 2010 and Poser Pro 2012 at the same time: [link]
The structure and the rules are always the same with Poser:
You can re-organize the following sub-folders only:
Library : Character
Library : Pose
Library : Face
Library : Hands
Library : Hair
Library : Material
Library : Props
Library : Camera
Library : Light
Poser 9/2012 has new folders that can get re-organized, too:
Library : Scene
Never move everything else, unless you really know what you are doing.
But you are not limited in the number of runtimes
