Ben is a kind and considerate prince, and wants to do the best he can as a ruler for his people. In public appearances, he tries to uphold the calm and level-headed look and act mature and understanding. Behind closed curtains though, Ben is a fairly nervous person, always second guessing his choices and rulings. He subconciously dislikes himself, constantly putting himself down infront of others nonchalantly. He rarely catches himself doing it, but when he does or its pointed out, he quickly apologizes and gets flustered. He gets flustered quite easily, specially when being teased.

History:

Ben was born to Alistair and Gertrude Rose, and his birth was a very celebrated one. He is the oldest of two, his younger sister being born when he was about 10 years of age. Ben, from the day he was born, has been bred and taught the ways of a ruler by his father, and was constantly going through lesson after lesson. Learning anything from sword fighting to etiquette to how to write up royal documents.

When he was 10 years old, only a few months after his sister's birth, Ben was left in the royal garden to play on his own. While tossing around his ball, he found an opening in the protective walls, and went through into the badlands. The memory is vague, but he remembers meeting a weed child there breifly, before his father noticed him gone and came to retrieve him with a few of his closest knights. Something went wrong though, and an older weed went beserk, to where his father had the knights take Ben away and he stayed behind, never to return again.

Years later, Ben is now 18, soon to be crowned king of the Rose Kingdom. Each day he pushes himself further to learn more of his people and how to take care of them.
