Well, the madness is over. This is Lacus Clyne from the anime Gundam Seed. I have been a fan of the series for a long time and I came across this pic. I liked the way the colours looked and I wanted to try a new colour for a change so I focused on pink this time around. Plus I havent drawn anime in a long time.
The main colours used were pink, magenta, bubblegum, orchid, raspberry, purple, pale rose, and black. I used different sets of blue for the logo, and different sets of brown for the golden hair clip.
When I started this piece I thought it would be a quick draw. How wrong I was, lol. The sketching took me 30 min, but the colouring itself took me 2 weeks (of course I was very lazy during the period lol).
I want to focus on a main colour for every pic I do. I have big plans for this year, things will get very exciting, just wait and see . But right now I want to rearrange my priorities and do some studies for a change.
