My first picture all year, and not the last. I've been aching to get something done and the history of this drawing is pretty simple. My family has a picture of this lion framed up on a wall. We've had this picture for years. One day I was lay down on my sofa and I noticed the lion. After staring at it for 2 minutes, I decided that I will make this my next project.
Drawing a lion was harder than I thought. I had to show the realism of the fur, the horrors of drawing the mane, I was cursing throughout the entire endeavor, lol.
Traditional pencil on paper, but I gotta get a better pencil.
On to the next project!
