Magically composed, almost hazy to a drunken extent; a half forgotten day, swept away by grief. Beautiful relationship between the greys. I feel those reeds, tickling and somehow miss the woman of the silhouette.

Lovely composition, and the choice of contrast and exposure generally works. There are a few black patches that don't fit well with the rest of the image, however, due to the loss of detail.

"More hands on" means the process is more involved & requires more physical interaction. In the case of analogue, it is "much more hands on", hehe, than digital, because there are so many things to consider that combined give varied results (like different films, how you process it in the darkroom etc). It's true digital is varied also, but the way you achieve the effects with 35mm are through manual, physical manipulaton. It feels more rewarding to me that way.
