Despite what one may regularly expect from a guy who feels like his heart was absolutely ripped from his chest, Kamil is adventurous in nature. Everyday that he is allowed to breathe is a new day he can spend discovering new things and people to love and cherish. Things as simple as acts of kindness or as complex as a philosophical question on existence are things that keep him curious to discover and to learn more about others and his own environment. Needless to say, Kamil is an optimist who sees life as a glass half full that, if it would allow him, he would want to fill the glass to the top himself. To him, there’s a silver lining behind every cloud, provided by the sun or moon, it doesn’t matter. To him, nature is beautiful and his friends are something to be cherished! Thereby, it’s easy to deduce that Kamil is loyal to a fault. Any secret is safe with him and any task he is entrusted with will be fulfilled to the best of his abilities.

However, seeing everyone as his loyal and trusted friends may be a bit of a burden. Kamil is very open about his life. So, speaking with him is pretty much a lot like reading an open book. Or at least, being forced to listen to a free audiobook. In some ways, this is good for his honesty makes him credible and demonstrates his loyalty towards others, but at the same time, there is a sense of naivety prevalent. But the most important thing to know about Kamil is that he is a romantic. While he sees that there is a silver lining behind every cloud, there must also be a rainbow looming. Despite his own dating experiences, he believes in soulmates, true love, and every other soulbinding concept one could think of. To him, EA is merely a way for him to strengthen himself in order to be worthy to experience such a concept.

Thus, it’s reasonable to say that Kamil can be reckless due to his inability to properly keep his emotions in line. He trusts easily and he loves easily. It’s rare to find Kamil thinking with a clear and logical mind, as much as he may want to try. He thinks with his heart and, more often than not, it hurts himself and others in turn. His recklessness causes him to be meddlesome as well. Thinking with his heart means he thinks he has the right to interfere with the personal affairs of others, when he believes he has the solution that could make them a better person. He probes in affairs that was never his business but fails to understand why others won’t allow him into their lives. So naturally, Kamil is easily disappointed by negative outcomes that come as a result of his meddlesome nature and subsequently displays a sort of stubbornness when he fails to understand simple outcomes.

Though he may be emotional and reckless, Kamil tries his best to understand how others feel though he may be seemingly projecting his own feelings upon others.

Biography:
There’s not much that Kamil will tell you regarding his birth and the years leading up to teenagehood. He experienced the typical response that you would expect from your parents discovering that you can turn into something otherworldly (even if it’s just a helpless little bear cub). At 5, he stopped receiving hugs from his parents in public and he thought it to be expected. (He still received loving and comforting hugs at home and that was decidedly enough for him.)

At the age of 10, the generic questions and feelings experienced by a young teen resurfaced as Kamil saw as how other kids tended to avoid him, offering him nothing more than a hesitant side glance before returning to their own devices, swiftly deciding to exclude Kamil from any activity or interaction. So, how did he get the attention he wanted?

Well, a black eye and a busted nose later, he found himself being raised by his uncle and his grandmother for the hopes of rehabilitating and growing out of this awkward phase in his life.

The two ran a rug store and also specialised in carpet embroidery, deep into the country, far from where Kamil’s parents lived. At a young age, he helped with much of the physical labour due to their respective ages and subsequent deterioration in health over the following years.

At 13, he received attention.

From a young girl who fell for him and subsequently, he fell for too. If love made people blind, it made teenagers incapable of basic human functions. In Kamil’s case, he didn’t think his decisions through, logic was but a myth and then, common actions like eating, sleeping and socialising no longer became a priority now that love kept him alive.

Every second of his existence was thereby dedicated to her. She didn’t even mind that he transformed into a Kodiak Bear (who seemed to grow as the years passed).

But at 18, Kamil was hit with the realisation that teenage relationships tended to be as fragile as they were when they began. Yet, the relationship meant a lot to him. She broke things off, primarily due to his inability to control his own feelings, turning into a bear constantly due to feelings of stress, of inadequacy and due to his primary issue of feeling validated all. The. Time. Soon, she left and he was left trying to figure out what went wrong (despite the fact that she spelled it out for him before leaving).

Receiving a letter that offered him an out, Kamil more than happily accepted an escape from a life of heartbreak and lack of emotional support, he begrudgingly accepted the offer to live at Empyrean Aevum (EA) in attempts to make himself a better person.

A person good enough to be outside with someone else.
