Description
Mini comic based on a talk with a friend about how life seems to get more complicated as you grow older. Or maybe we make it more complicated ?Used a 3d reference to do the bigger maze, btw. oh and there's a hidden black cat there as usual.

Great concept on life's complications and difficulties. I like the implications that the maze gives us, subtly stating that though it seems impossible, there is a way out. We just have to find it.

Great concept. I think it's a combination- in some ways it has to get more complicated because of paying bills and etc. Yet, I don't think it needs to be as complicated as we make it.

Life does get more complicated as we get older, but I think we also make it that way. I'm not sure it's possible to completely make it out of the maze before time runs out. Great doodle once again!

This, and flower head girl, I totally get. Perhaps we see more weeds when we're older? I don't know....my head needs "weeding" at the moment.

We choose to make it complicated because of what our responsibility demands. As we get older, we gain knowledge, with knowledge we gain power. When we have power, we have a responsibility TO that power, thus we have to take on complicated tasks and live situations that are or aren't the norm for most people based on those responsibilities.
The most practical to give an example is a super-hero from a comic or video game; The character has power, but that character has a choice whether to use that power for self-gain, to help others or cause complete and utter chaos just for kicks; or all three at once. Whatever the choice is, the character uses the power based on the responsibility he's taken on and won't stop until he or she has finished it. A more mundane real life example is if a carpenter learns how to build stuff only for the sake of building stuff they know how to build.
We do have a choice in how we tend to these responsibilities. If someone in real-life gained telekinesis, he/she could always choose to not use it for any action to define him/herself, but to only perform what he needs done, such as fly to where they need to go, switching channels on the TV without using a remote and so on; Being lazy in it's use, but it's still a simplified choice and the person leads a less complicated life as they grow older.
To make a long story short, as we grow older, life doesn't have to be a complex garden maze as long as you choose not to make it complicated.... That or if you do the right-handed wall trick. XD
