Description

A Candy Bite is a special type of tailmouth. Well, more like an unfortunate breed of tailmouth. Each one is candy and this can cause them a problem. A HUGE problem. Their tails will want to eat them. This is due to a natural addiction to candy each tail is born with.

As they grow, each of them will have to come up with a way to keep the mouth closed or controlled. Some are creative, and others are hasty. They can only do this once because if they untie that tail, it will eat them up within minutes. Some are dreadfully born with 2 or more tails, however this is very rare. It's also rare that they'll live through this in the first year, so seeing a Candy Bite with more than one tail is ultra rare.

These are very paranoid creatures, and they do not sleep due to their fear, so they usually form huge bags under their eyes. Some have the bravery to cut they're tail off. They, however, cannot do this without a fight and end up with missing parts. Others will be proud of them but will not be their friends because the area where the tail was will keep bleeding and they will die soon. Even with their tail cut off, they still do not sleep because they are afraid they may die in their sleep.

The average age these things live to is 40 years old due to their lack of sleep. Some are gentle to their tail in hopes that it'll love them too much to eat them (which this never happens), others are very cruel to their tail because they are tired of living in fear.

Will their method of keeping their tails from eating them work? It's up to you.

This is a closed species.

Even more info on the Candy Bites! These are the... weirdos of the Candy Bite world... Most Candy Bites with these genes/diseases/birth defects are looked down on/feared in Candy Bite society. Some will become very bitter due to rejection (Mostly ones with "Fadrome"), or some will be very depressed/lonely (usually ones with "Monochromia").

By the way Fadrome is very rare. (forgot to add that, ohf eue") Some of these you have seen and some you haven't. I'll probably add more oddities Candy Bites can get, but for now, these are the official ones. I will have info on Attraction and the common behaviors of the different Sexes next. o uo

If a candybite is infected with the smilies, are they able to close their mouths at all? how do they eat? What are the different stages? how contagious is it? If you have one with it are you able to draw it in the different progressive stages? Can they be born with this disease?

Sorry if it is a bother but it is an honest question I have actually come across

Can you explain to me more about monochromia and their eyes? I don't really understand when it says "it bleeds a little for a reason" and "can have both or one type of red eye"

Well Candybites with Monochromia hide their eyes because they are rather red and scary. There are two type of red eyes they can have: a beady bleeding one or a almost all white but still red type of eye. Some have one bloody eye and the other is the red blank one... I hope that helps. XD

Hmm I'm not sure, but getting into the subject of making babies, that would mean I would have to make breedables... eue

Nope, they still have to keep them tied up... but they have movable knots so they can just loosen the rope to talk.

I've always wanted to know something about this species

if a candybite lets its tail eat other candybites will the tail not go after them? ; A ;

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

PieCuddlie In reply to BaraMoose [2012-11-09 06:06:49 +0000 UTC]

It's usually up to the owner of the Candy Bite. eue In my opinion, the tail will eventually have a desire for it's host after a while of not being fed.
