Here's some really doodly doodles of a Flower Critter I got recently. I don't have a name for him yet and I'm still trying to flesh out what exactly he'll be involved in/what skills he has.I was talking with a friend last night and this is what I brainstormed so far:
"He trusts mantibabs a lot since one saved him from a horrible situation he was in that involved cruel humans
The trust is a bit of a fault because really any bab could be just as cruel as those humans were, but so far the babs he's met have been nothing but nice to him
He's now under Candy Lord's 'care' though... And he's not fully aware what Candy Lord is into or even his true colors, he just sees him as a very admirable and amazing bab, pretty much what Candy Lord sees himself as
And I think even if he does learn what Candy Lord really is like, he would refuse to turn on him... Of course CL is using him for some sort of skill he has, which is the only reason he takes care of the Flower Critter, but the Flower Critter doesn't see that...
... I imagine he's incredibly intelligent in some sort of way CL could use, maybe he knows some sort of special math or subject or something that would help CL's business...
He's very triggerable, needles will make him go into an episode of crying because he was extra traumatized by having his mouth stitched shut-- any string that's thin will also trigger him, and he's terribly afraid of humans.
I think he might even be deaf because it seems he might not have ears... or maybe he'll have very sensitive ears, no sure which one, but he'll have a reason he wears that hat/band"
In addition to that, I think even though he's very sweet, he is a merciless hunter, immediately pouncing on any tiny critter he sees as food. Sometimes he likes to let them run around and chase them because, well, he is a Flower Critter after all! :3
He's pretty small himself, I doodled a comparison picture of him standing next to (well more so climbing on) Piebab while she's sitting to help you see how small he is. She's just like "What is this little adorable creature doing on me??"
*sighs* He's just the cutest thing, I love his hatband a lot. :3TL

maybe.. some humans just cut his ears off [um..because...he overheard humans conversation? ] so yea he has no ears but he has the holes of the ears which loook..scary? so he has the band thing? .. ]
i looked up if your ears were cut off, can u hear. and so far people say yes but not well. like With no ears, you could still hear, you just wouldn't know where the sound was. or o, if you lost your ears, you might be able to tell what music you're hearing, but not where the speakers are.

[it would be interesting is somehow CL was involved with Flower Critter gettign his ears cut off? like it was business he heard that had to do with CL ? i dunno]
