Whooop finally done with these, I'm super happy to actually be able to have thought of an area Amaris would live in! (the pretty second one)

She lives in a place called the Vuins (Valley City Ruins). Many fear to explore the ruins, even the bravest hearts gets the chills from this place. It's said to be haunted by "ghosts", but in reality it's just four extremely powerful wizards that roam in these ruins. They've mastered magic to the point where they all are invisible to those who they feel are not worthy to see them. If they really don't like a visitor, they use their magic to scare the wanderer away.

Of course Waffles just waltz into these ruins like it's no problem due to his lack of knowledge of these legends about this place. He does get a little weary, but his curiosity usually trumps over his fear. After following Waffles around, Amaris eventually gained interest in him and makes herself visible to him. Due to her love for music, she quickly gets along with Waffles and teaches Waffles her music style.

Not too long after Swish (3rd one) makes himself visible to Waffles after being impressed by Waffles' music and very friendly ways. Elder (1st one) decides to make his presence known as well, and spends his time with Waffles giving him helpful and wise advice. It takes a while for Wind (4th one) to reveal himself to Waffles due to his trust issues, but finally does when Waffles plays a familiar tune that soothes Wind's built up stress.

All the wizards used to be friends until Elder and Wind clashed in a fight and caused all of the friends to split apart. Swish usually takes Elder's side, and Amaris thinks all of them are a bunch of childish fools. (though she'll be around anyone when she wants to be) Wind isolates himself from the others. They've been at it for decades, and any attempts of compromises only made the tension worse.

Waffles tried for the longest to get all the old wizards to get together, and sure enough he does! But when he came back to visit, the two grumpy old beings were fighting again. Who knew it was so difficult (and dangerous with all that magic flying around) to patch up friendships amongst old magical friends? Amaris will cobber both the crazy kooks if they almost hurt her "godson" though.

Here's some info about each:
"Elder": None of the others really know his real name, but he seems so wise at times that they just call him Elder. In general he holds a lot of secrets and loves to tease others who are very curious about him.
He's mastered magic of the night, darkness, and the stars. His form changes whenever he chooses between an anthro form to a feral form. Even though he can seem humble for the most part, he tends to get very proud of his power and causes him to be a little hardheaded. The scarf he wears is a little translucent, it mysteriously flows around on its own even when there's no gust around whatsoever.

Amaris: She is very knowledgeable, knowing how to resolve the trickiest issues between friends (expect for Elder's and Wind's issue) to knowing what chords would sound good on any string instrument. She has a harp-like instrument that she plays beautifully and usually teaches those who she believe are worth her secret musical ways.
Even though she's very helpful and nice, she is still quite true to her nature with being devious. Every so often, she'll nab some food from Waffles while he's not looking and any other items he might bring with him. She is a bit of a kleptomaniac and has a collection of gold jewelry and other gems she stole during her younger days. In fact she used to be quite a well-known thief back then, always offering to help others then stealing from them until they're penniless. She'd get away by using her magic transforming powers. Nowadays she tries to be a genuine help... however she might still snatch a few things here and there.
She possesses magic of the moon and plays music especially beautifully under a full moon.

Swish: He's a lively and cheerful fellow who loves to make witty jokes. While he's lighthearted, he tends to be loyal to Elder and can be very nasty towards anyone who opposes Elder. He probably is the closest to Elder, knowing secrets about Elder that not even the other wizards know.
He wields the magic of water and any other liquid that may be around him. A special oil that seeps out of his feathers is especially useful with his magic. Swish has a bit of a citrus scent to him if you get close enough.

Wind: This wizard isn't always in the mood to be social with just anyone. The hardships he's been through have made him a tough cookie to even approach. Starting even the smallest of arguments with him will make him evaporate immediately and float away to somewhere else. He hates disagreements of any kind and will usually go silent in the middle of a fight or uses his magic power to create distance between him and whoever is arguing with him.
He's almost one with the wind, some even rumor that he has no insides at all which would explain how he can be blown away with the wind/float so easily. The fur on his ankles is very thin and light, becoming wispy when he uses his wind magic.
Not sure who this one is by? (Got him a while ago from Phloxe though)

Now I shall retreat to bed....
