Description I am a woman, not a womb. But if there is ever a human life in there, I will respect his/her right to life, property, and the pursuit of happiness, no matter how he/she was conceived.

I've seen the phrase, "I'm a woman, not a womb", and decided to tweak it a bit. Abortion concerns the rights of both the mother and the pre-born life inside of her, and both need non-violent, wholesome solutions should the pregnancy be unexpected, a result of rape, or if the child is predicted to be born with a disability.

Of course you are a woman; so am I! And it's great that we live in a society where our worth isn't determined by our sexual abilities or fertility. But our wombs have the opportunity to be a home for growing, human life, and we have no right to deny their right to life, property, and the pursuit of happiness. There are people who are more than willing to help you and your child, and you have no need to give up your rights or the child's rights. Whether or not you live by that standard, I know I will, and I plan on doing just that; I love all life too much to not to.

God bless my fellow ladies out there!

If you or someone you know is suffering from a regretted abortion, please find counseling and help right away. There are people who are willing to help you overcome your grief, man or woman; many counseling groups are found in churches, especially the Catholic Church. Option Online also offers secular counseling to those who are suffering their abortion, though they are Pro-Choice. Secular Pro-Life has made a list of secular post-abortion healing groups as well who are Pro-Life: [link]

If you or someone you know is scared because of an unexpected pregnancy, find a CPC right away. There are people who want to help you make non-violent, ethical choices that help both you and your baby. They can give you job counseling, financial help, or even help you set the child up for adoption. To find a pregnancy center near you, go here: [link]

Resources for victims of rape who become pregnant:

~Generally, any pregnancy center will be able to give you aid. Some may offer special counseling to victims of rape, but it varies from center to center. This is one example of many pregnancy centers that offer support for victims who become pregnant: [link] You can find a pregnancy center near you here: [link]

~This link provides info on what do to if you are pregnant from rape and choose to abort, but it also provides info for women who choose to keep their baby: [link]

ALWAYS REPORT A RAPE RIGHT AFTER IT HAPPENS. Do NOT change your clothes, take a shower, etc; you may feel dirty and unclean after the rape, but the legal authorities need physical evidence to help you support your case in court. If desired, wrap yourself in a blanket to feel secure. Then call someone for help right away. When someone you know and trust is with you, contact legal authorities IMMEDIATELY. The sooner you can file a criminal and collect evidence, the sooner you can get help and go onto the road of recovery. Learn more here: [link]

Resources for mothers who's pre-born children are at risk for a disability:

~There are many organizations and centers that are dedicated to helping you, your child, and the family adjust to the new lifestyle of raising a child with a disability. There are also some organizations that focus on one particular disability, such as autism or deafness. Whatever it is your child was born with, there is always help for them and for you. To find an organization that can best fit your child's needs, look here: [link]

Comments are closed for a reason. I do not have time to debate/discuss, nor do I think people who oppose my ideals are interested in changing their mind via dA comment chains anyway. I made this to show that Pro-Life, including Pro-Life feminism, does not devalue women to that of a sexual organ. We simply believe there are solutions that are better for you and the pre-born baby.
