Ella es Ariadna, del manga de *IreneRoga , La Canción de Ariadna . ^__^Irene fue la artista invitada del V Salón Manga de Cádiz, donde pude conocerla. Pronto publicará su manga en la #Linea-Gaijin de Glénat.
La flor es una anémona. Una de las flores más bonitas que existen en el mundo para mí. Según la mitología griega, las anémonas rojas son gotas de sangre de Afrodita, diosa del amor y la belleza, que se provoca con unas zarzas cuando corre a salvar a su amante Adonis. Hay muchas versiones de esta misma historia pero, básicamente, el significado de esta flor en el dibujo es la sangre y la lucha del Amor contra el Mal. La eterna batalla.

Irene was the guess artist in V Salón Manga de Cádiz, a otaku convention in my city, and I could know her. She will publish her manga soon.
Flower is an anemone. One of the most beautiful flowers in the world, I think. Acording to Greek Myth, red anemones are blood drops of Aphrodite, goddess of love and beauty, when she run for help her lover Adonis and she hurt with brambles. There are different versions of the same story but, basically, flower in this drawing means blood and fight of Love against Evil. The eternal battle.

Mangaka of Ariadna's Song (*IreneRoga ) and me share a deep passion for ancient Greece. We know hundreds of gods of Olympus and their stories. Aphrodite's anemone story was easy to choose because is one of my favourites, and anemones are so beautiful. I needed something as beautiful as Ariadna. *^___^*

Europe owes a great debt to Greece in every way. No doubt. ^O^
The real reason why :IreneRoga: and me love classic Greek culture is Saint Seiya. We both love this manga, and it opened a way of curiosity about this culture, its philosophy, science, religion and so on, sources of inspiration of thousand of works like Saint Seiya or Ariadna's Song. ^__^
