My entry for 's Figure Photography contest.
(I've noticed the slight blur at the bottom. It's hard to hold an iphone still while lying on your stomach in the grass xD)
No interesting scenery here in the Chicago suburbs, so my front lawn had to work.
So, Asuka and my King Of Flexible Mobile Liger Zero figure in its Panzer unit just chilling out in the grass, and Liger getting his chin scratched by the ever-so-charming Asuka. xD
(Only switched her hands and face to convey the fact that she's being gentle in this shot. She's back in her signature "What are you, stupid?!" pose xD)
You know, I just realized that Asuka was raised in Germany, and the Liger Zero's three original CAS units have German names (Jager=Hunter, Schneider=Slicer/Cutter, and Panzer=Armored/Tank) Coincidence, perhaps? Even more coincidental, Asuka is my fav anime character and Liger is my fav anime mech. . . .What is it with me and things with German names/of German descent? LMAO

I know right?! I instantly compared Shinji and Asuka's relationship to Bit and Leena's(at least, at first look. when you go deeper it's just so much more fucked up xD)
I could also see them getting along with Mii from Genesis, since, well, she pretty much beats up on Ruuji all the time xD

Uh, please don't remind me of Shinji X_X(it's the anime character I hate the most in this world. He's the reason why I don't like Evangelion, even tho I endured it because I did like ASuka). Bit and Leena's relationship is way funnier than Shinji and ASuka's anyways XDDD

He was still somewhat like the original in 1.11, but 2.22 is where it starts to deviate from the original. Unit 02 gets a Beast Mode, Asuka is Unit 03's test pilot, the new character, Mari, is freaking insane, and oh my god, my sides were hurting after Asuka's first encounter with Pen-Pen from all the laughter
Asuka and Shinji's relationship is so much more hilarious if you add in Re-Take, Angelic Days, Rebuild, and Campus Apocalypse. And god, th dub of the Ep 26 Alt Reality sequence. Dying. of. Laughter

lol, yeah, Shinji actually falls as my fifth fav(only because of Rebuild and the Manga) xD. He's much more bearable in Rebuild, but in the original, my god am I with you there xD

Yeah I might watch Rebuild... but it'll be hard, as I told you I watched the whole first series and read the manga but I didn't like it very much. Lots of people have told me to rewatch it... but as always I never do it until a stranger on the internet tells me to XD

Well, I highly recommend after watching End Of Evangelion to read the Doujin Re-Take. It has a few. . . .sexual scenes, but for the most part, Shinji gets the chance to go back and redo things (with the intention of having a better outcome, but everything still goes awry in different ways). He manages to defeat Unit 03 with Toji getting only a dislocated Shoulder instead of losing his leg, he purposely falls behind Asuka on the synch tests so she doesn't try to foolhardily prove herself, and all sorts of things, all the while being harassed by Asuka's "ghost" from EoE. It has a happy ending though, whic I personally consider canon. xD
Rebuild is going a different route pretty much. 1.11 is the first six eps re-vamped, but Misato knows about Lillith already and shows her to Shinji and explains what would happen if Ramiel reached her to motivate him to take up the job of sniping Ramiel with the Positron Cannon. 2.22 deviates entirely from the original, and 3.33 will as well. Evangelion: Final (the fourth Rebuild movie) is said to be another completely new ending.
And it's not just the main manga you should read. Angelic Days and Shinji Ikari Raising Project are based off of the ep 26 Alt reality sequence. (I've only read Angelic Days, can't find scans or volumes of the other, but apparently Gendo is a comic relief character in it) They focus more on inter-character relations and are freaking hilarious.
Campus Apocalypse is also good. The angels don't have bodies of their own and must inhabit human vessels, killing the host's soul in the process. The Evas aren't giant mechs, but are instead weapons that are manifests of the wielder's will. Shinji has a handgun, Kaworu a sword, Rei a mini Lance of Longinus, and Asuka a . . . . . wait for it. . . .a WHIP of all things xD
The AU manga are a bit more interesting IMO

Oh, I did read Re-Take u///u I actually just intended to read the hentai parts and ended up reading through the whole thing. I didn't like very much the ending, I am more a sadistic person who likes to see the characters go through hell

I've never been too mucn into AUs but it seems that 80% of Evangelion is AU so I guess I'll have to resign myself XD

Oh, then you'd love The End Of Evangelion if you didn't already watch it. Asuka's fight against the Mass Production Evangelions is fucking brutal, and Misato goes badass on a bunch of soldiers, then Shinji and Asuka are the only humans left at th end of the movie xD
Yeah, I had not even intended to read TRe-Take or anything, but the ending left me feeling so . . . .empty. . . .that I felt I had to (and I'm a sucker for happy endings xD)
