Wow, that actually doesn't look half bad for just a quickly applied material. Texture skewing is a bit obvious in places, but other than that, pretty good. This would be completely and totally awesome if you gave it a proper UV mapping. Adding a paint scheme and a few decals on top of that would make it just plain badass.
BTW, downloaded it to get a closer look. Do you use NURBs for all your models?

looks like a spaceship. like a mercanary ship, with guns that stick out from places that guns were not intended to stick out of. i like it
