Totoro and soot sprites!
I used a sugar cookie recipe and added cocoa powder for the darker parts.
I don't know if it's because I didn't follow the recipe exactly [i used a cold egg instead of a room temp one, and microwaved the butter instead of room temp...], but it didn't taste that sweet, even when I sprinkled sugar over the 2nd and 3rd round to be baked...maybe the recipe was just stupid. Oh well. They're still cute and edible.
