Thank you!  I've been trying to get a decent shot of a stilt for several weeks but usually they are too shy and/or move too fast.  However, much to my delight, this one and his mate headed my way as I was shooting the little blue heron.  I guess it has to be their idea.

Well you certainly captured him perfectly. They must have
wanted their photo taken.
