You're welcome. Β I think you timed your shot perfectly. Β Sunset colors would have taken it over. Β Instead one can appreciate the entire scene... the mirror-like lake and the exquisite long shadows in the grass.

This one's really full of grace. Such a beautiful bird and a very clear shot! It's hard to catch birds in flight.

I did get lucky on that one. Though it helped that there were many egrets feeding in one place. They kept coming and going and all I had to do was snap away.

You captured a great pose. Those out of focus areas on the front and the background looks really good. Maybe it is not sharp, but it adds some looking of soft and dreamy to your photograph ;D

Thank you, Barbara! The refuge was an exciting place to photograph egrets because there were so many of them. I could just stand in one place and snap their comings and goings while listening to a deafening chorus of bullfrogs.
