They looked weird to me too, but after watching the trailers for awhile I got used to it..:/

I thought they were interesting. Certainly, I would have preferred the movie be done in 2D (As I would just about anything) but if they were going to make it look like live action, I certainly thought they got the essence of the characters in each and every design.

Truth be told, it was actually most of the voices that threw me of.
