Description I posted pictures of this when it was almost completed:

Ceramic, cat whiskers, glaze/ paints/ nail polish, and I stuffed it with black wool roving so the inside surface isn't visible from any of the various holes.
I didn't pluck the whiskers! I collect them whenever I find them, and my mother does the same when she finds whiskers from her cats.

The project this was for involved making something in the style of a famous artist, but also putting our own spin on it. I chose Jason Briggs, who does a lot of fleshy lumps with hairs inserted in them.

Photos were taken by Nathan Feller, an artist who teaches at the school I go to, and who was kind enough to take the time to take pictures of some of my work for me.

In some areas, I scratched in lines, painted them with darker underglaze, and wiped it off so the underglaze was in the scratch marks only. I like the effect it gives, like it's a drawing arount the tumor-balls. I was going to insert little hairs into all those tiny follicles on the opened parts of the tumor-balls... I didn't end up doing that, and if I had know that I wouldn't, I think I would've made them into eyeballs instead. :/
