Description Rica Matsumoto is a singer and (voice) actress, with her best-known role being the star of Pokémon, Satoshi (Ash Ketchum in the West). She also voiced Ryou Bakura in Yu-Gi-Oh, all the more chilling when she does the evil laugh. For dubbing, she was Bridget Jones, Elle Woods, Leeloo, Flounder, and Angela Anaconda.

Matsumoto sang opening themes to various shows. She did several for Pokémon (of course), and as pictured she sang the opening to Kamen Rider Ryuki.

Considering the XY episode with Ash and co. meeting their mirror selves in Reflection Cave (even visiting the Mirror World), Matsumoto’s performance for the Kamen Rider Ryuki opening theme becomes hilarious in hindsight. Also the duality of Bakura.

“HENSHIN!”

Pokémon belongs to Satoshi Tajiri, Nintendo, Game Freak, and The Pokémon Company. Yu-Gi-Oh! belongs to Kazuki Takahashi and Konami.

You Know, It’s Quite Amusing Known That Ash’s Japanese VA Voiced Bakura, But Since I Grew Up With The Dubs Of Pokemon, And Yu-Gi-Oh, I Still Respect Veronica Taylor, Along With Ted Lewis, But Nice Fact BTW
