Description ("Check da, check!")

Yuji Ueda has a wide range in the characters he has voiced in his career. His roles include Blanka (Street Fighter series), NumberMan.exe (MegaMan NT Warrior), Strider Hiryu (Marvel vs. Capcom series) Takeshi/Brock (Pokémon), and Yoshio Saotome (Tokimeki Memorial).

In Tokimeki Memorial, Yoshio Saotome is the character who codified the information character of dating sim games. Since the first day of school, he becomes the protagonist's best friend and provides useful information on girls. He keeps track of everything: birthdays, blood types, three sizes, hobbies, phone numbers, you name it. (You don't have to ask him about date spots if you look at the monthly magazine on a regular basis.) He's friendly and easygoing, and cares deeply for his little sister Yumi, who becomes freshman on the protagonist's second year.

Probably one of the best-known roles Ueda has played is Takeshi in Pokémon, known as Brock in English and several other languages. One of Brock's iconic personality traits is his hopeless romantic pursuits with older women, especially Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny. In "Dig Those Diglett!", he even has a notebook and asks Gary's fangirls for their numbers!

(Besides humans like Brock and Marlon, Ueda also voices several species of Pokémon, such as Wobbuffet, Sceptile, and Greninja.)

Tokimeki Memorial belongs to Konami.
