Description Watching Bigger, Longer, and Uncut and “Super Hard PCness” back-to-back highlights how millennials can be not so different from the moral guardians of yesteryear. Kyle, believing that Terrance and Phillip are the root of all cruelty in South Park, ends up becoming like his mom Sheila. (Even the acronyms for their organizations are the same!) Going with Season 21’s theme of responsibility, he was playing the victim card by using his moral crusade as an excuse to vent his frustration and anger at losing his love to his worst enemy. Even Garrison wanted Kyle to stop escalating the protest... but then changed his mind when the idea erasing Canada aroused him. Bombs went flying and millions of Canadians died, much to Kyle’s horror.

Terrible as the consequences are, Kyle did have a point that South Park is a cruel place with cruel people. It’s no wonder that the next Season featured school shootings on a daily basis and ManBearPig killing Satan. While Kyle getting Garrison to nuke Canada is still horrible, it’s not to the level of Sheila causing the end of the entire world. Learning that Gerald was a troll, losing Heidi, and getting bullied for trying to do the right thing, Kyle has been getting so much bad luck in the later Seasons. Poor boy.

Happy 20th Anniversary to South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut.

South Park belongs to Trey Parker, Matt Stone, and Comedy Central.
