Name: Kimori (Kimo)

Species: Holovore
Holovores are shapeshifters bonded with demons, which grants special abilities in most cases. Kimo is an archaeopteryx shifter bonded with the Sokudo Weasel Demon.
Abilities:
Shapeshifting: Kimo is able to shift his wings away whenever he pleases. He can fly and maneuver with ease, however, if his wings are damaged they can only heal when they are shifted out (and cannot be shifted away if they are soaked - they just become a liability).
Energy Catalyzing: This ability comes from the bonded demon. Kimo is able to harness the super-condensed energy from the Sokudo Weasel to greatly increase the speed of his movements. The black rings on his arm will glow red when this energy is in use. The first ring glowing signifies a tesser (superspeed burst). Both rings lit signals higher energy usage to his specialized redblades. Three rings glowing indicates a jump (teleporting). Latest marking is #4 on his lower right ankle - means the greedy idiot is about to do some energy poaching. Buuuut, it only works if he has physical contact with whoever he's draining it from. In total, Kimo has 7 markings, but currently only the named 4 have been 'unlocked.'
Shadowmancy: The redhead knows how to weaponize tendrils and use them lethally...considering he'd done so with an unfortunate soul recently. However, he lacks true training and experience the typical shadowmancer would have, including a fundamental skill. He actually doesn't sense other shadowmancers around (has to be actively looking for that smh). For the most part, he has Nerium to thank for everything he knows about it because he refuses to actually go to class and learn like A NORMAL STUDENT.
Energymancy: Derives it from his own catalyzing energy so his lightning/electricity comes out red as any of his specialty abilities do. Knows the basics, though he and Jax have been experimenting around with it a little which had led to some interesting discoveries. Could it be used offensively? OH YEAH. Gonna need a LOT more practice with it though.

Strengths:
- Hardworking - once he sets a goal, he is determined and dedicated to complete it
- Loyalty - once in a blue moon Kimo finds someone he is very fond of. If this is the case, he will stand devoted by their side through hell and back
- Has a lot of past experience as a mercenary - skilled with short range weapons and hand-to-hand combat
- High energy - is borderline hyperactive, but keeps him constantly moving and working throughout the day, which is why he can train all day long no problem (see weakness)
- Adaptability - He may not be the quickest learner, but he is able to think on his feet when the situation arises. And as a holovore, his shapeshifter half allows him to change the anatomy of his wings + tail feathers just enough to get optimal maneuverability, speed, and lift when needed. As a bonus, the foreclaws on his wings can also serve as another set of hands. Gotta love being a dinosaur.
Weaknesses:
- Flawed logic - as a kid at heart and a daredevil, Kimo often makes questionable decisions that usually lead to bigger problems
- Snide demeanor - when interacting with others he has a tendency to make (fr)enemies (he thinks conflict is fun in certain occasions), which usually causes more issues for him and the people he communicates with
- High energy - using this energy means replenishing it with tons of food (>11,000 calories/day) so he is constantly snacking throughout the day. If too much energy is used without sufficient food and/or rest, it's lights out for him. Catalyzing energy can only be recovered through sleep or energy poaching.
- Short-tempered - He can be a bit hot-tempered and usually difficult to get along with might be short man syndrome
- Poisons/toxins/venom - In most cases, these will be super effective and fast acting with that ridiculous metabolism he has. Sometimes the effect is doubled if said poison ingested.
- Capture - If Kimo is trapped or held down by a person or object, he cannot use his energy catalyzing to tesser or make a jump (otherwise risking breaking and/or losing limbs. And he knows this because he's done it before. Ow.)
