This is a self portrait on A1 foam board in acrylic paint and gold lacquer and glitter.I am posing in front of a good time dress (the blue and white flamenco dress that I bought and danced in at Towersey festival) and a bad time dress (the pink one, given to me by Dorcas my lady of sin)

Recently got another shit kicking cover version of 'sweet leaf' on a compilation - Butthole Surfer's 'Sweet Loaf' which has inferior rapping to rhymin & stealin but way savager fuzz guitars
I'm not a big fan of comic book art by & large but the one artist i really dug when I read 2000ad as a wee un was *searches at great length* SB Davis who did sinister dexter he probably gave me a lot of ideas about painting McCarthy looks very nice though did he do the one about the psycho clown?

I'm sure he's done plenty of Psycho Clowns in his time but The Clown was illustrated by Robert Bliss it was printed in early 1990's , I really like McCarthys art he really is unique , believe it or not I dont read that many comics I'm kind of selective like with most things what to read these day's plus I dont have that much income (god knows where these comic fanatics get there money from guess its like football that kind of fanaticism) not a fan of superheros and anime too much of the same thing I'm aiming for something different though .
I liked Buthole Surfers when they were around , "Jimi " and "Hey!" are great , and they do a fine R.E.M cover as far as I remember..Gibby looks mental I remember seeing him on Snub T.V(this was in 1988) he talked total gibberish, its cool your into good stuff at a very young age theres so much horseshit out there good to know you know your stuff

I'm totally in love with the colours you've chosen to use. They bring a sort of dark feeling to the painting. I could easily stick this up on my wall, it's so wonderfully done.

super cool. i love the slogan and the way it is written and how it cuts off. and the composition is iconic- the two dresses on either side and the simplified face (we can still see it's you...)
