ok welll this is a dream that ive been having for the past like what 5 months and its the same thing i need somebody to help me and tell me what it means pleaseat the beggning iam in a dark room and i look around and i see nothing, then i hear a noise (i dont really know whattthe noise is) then a path of light comes out and then i start walking on the path then the path shatters and i wake up in a dark forest and the moon is red as blood, then i hear rustling and out comes this huge black wolf/bear/canine looking animal it looks more like a wolf i know, he looks around and then turns towards me, with those big yellow golden eyes that glow, and then he lifts his head and howls and then i wake up compltely... i really dont know what my dream means somebody help
EDIT: by far this is my favoritist drawing ive done of a wolf

I have a question... are you still dreaming this dream?
Dreams usually don't have any impact on your physical person (except maybe fatigue from stress, but stress is merely an aching of the mind). I was told that dreams give you a look on your inner feelings and thoughts, although most dreams are usually very confusing and silly; and seem to have no meaning at all. This dream, however, kept me thinking, and it MUST mean something, especially if you're having it receptively.

That wolf oddly looks famaliar....Is that Rawbones? He a a myth, a giant horse size blaxk wolf with deep golden eyes and can control the weather. His Demonic form is Darkwings, A giant hellhoundish dog with huge black wings and spikes coming out of the wings. IM TELLING YOU That looks like Rawbones to me. Normaly seeing Raw instead of Darkwing i a sign of great fortune, but remeber with each gain there is a loss first.

ok well im really creeped out because you share somewhat of the same situation im going through. its not always in dream though. like ill see a huge black wolf with golden eyes WHILE IM AWAKE. idk if this would help but my grandma got me a coin with a wolf on it. on the back it says "trust your instincts, guidence and protection are present" whenever i read it i feel safe. when i have it with me, thats when i see that wolf mostly. i have dreams about him all the time. if youre interested just comment or something i guess. because id really love to hear your stories too. we could try to figure this whole thing out. two heads are better than one ;D

WAIT! i dont know about dreams... but aperently, while i was asleep, i howled, my mum told me in the morning, i must of had a dream but blanked it out in the morning...i wonder why i howled?

These are just theories since I'm really not into dream-scrying but I can give it a try.
Darkness is often misunderstanding or confusion. Man fears the darkness becuase we doesn't understand it and we cannot see in it so we acosciate darkness with a lack of knowledge.
A path from the room might simply be that you think there's a way out of the confusion and the shattering might be unsertanty if it is the right way or not.
The other I must say sounds too much like something out of a book and i guess it's your consciousness coming too but I'll keep going anyway.
A dark forest you say? Again with the darkness that is misunderstanding but a DARK forest...hmm. I'll guess that you are familliar with a forest near where you live and know it pretty well. A darker version of that might mean that that you knew are now becoming clouded by things you don't understand.
The blood red moon might come from a bad momory or the likes.
And finally the animal... well I'd love if you could be more specific but I'll go on what I have...
The wolf to humans in general is viciousness and the likes but I feel that you've got a different view on it. I think it might be the fear of betrayal since you seem to have alot of friends around you who've got wolf fursonas and again with the darkness you probably know about by now.

That makes me think,that in fact,I do not fear darkness.I understand darkness.I love darkness.I control darkness.Maybe that proves that I am not human...

well if you can type and understand this then I'll draw the conclusion that you are in fact human as no other species I've heard of can do that. In any case it is different from person to person of coarse, we're to diverse of a species to draw a line and say "this is how it is for everybody". if you feel that you love darkness (as in the absense of light) then go ahead I won't mind it.

I'm atheist so I don't believe in anything that cannot be proven. In any case yes of coarse there's inhuman things it's just to look out your window and you'll see tree's and stuff

It may have something to do with a movie, there could be a possibility that it imprinted on you...not sure if that's the right word, but it's 3:45 in the morning...
It may also have to do with a memory, or past life, like others have suggested...
