I sat here and stared at this for a very long time before just giving up on a fancy title. The roses are blooming in our garden and of the six purple rose plants Mom stuck in the ground only one has survived. It has the most amazing light purple color and you wouldn't believe my irritation in trying to find out what the heck she has planted out there online. As it turns out, at least, to the best of my knowledge, these purple roses are being labeled as "blue" and are genetic lab babies out of Japan. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_ros… Well, since I have them in my yard they are literally not blue and I don't care what the company says or wants to call them, they're purple roses. Mom reports to me that they're called Silver Roses but I couldn't find any purple roses on the internet calling themselves silver so, I dunno. You know as much as I do now.

Edit: As Mom pressed me on the fact that it's a SILVER rose and not a JAPANESE rose, I went hunting a little deeper and did find an alternate flower that it could be: commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Ros…
