Her art style really works well with my pattern style and I hope we'll do future collaborations together.

I'm so excited to be doing the eeveelutions! My main design goal with these was to make them small and manageable projects. They're still in my style - partials, blends, finicky backstitching - but maintain the cuteness of the original artwork. Their eyes are all in DMC rayon/satin except for Leafeon and Glaceon... Leafeon's eyes being closed and Glaceon I went for metallic for that extra icy sparkle.

Picking out thread colors was a real challenge. Mom and I worked on colors for the nine patterns for a solid four days and then returned twice more to do extra refinements and do the shiny palettes. Picking colors is the hardest part of making patterns and I'm really glad mom is here to help me do it.
