Description Progress continues.

The wonderful Hannah-Alexander has given me permission to create and sell some patterns based on her work. If these are successful I hope to partner with her further to do the other princesses. This is a Work In Progress and does not reflect the final product.

Something I really need to point out: pixel representation of thread colors is highly inaccurate - that's why Rapunzel's dress went from pink to purple in her progress... because in real life that purple matches the artwork, not the pink!

Originally these princesses were dumped onto one pattern that gave me a lame register of 240 colors, 16.5 x 12.5 inches on 28 count. Now they are three separate patterns with their own symbols, color keys, timers, etc and so forth. They're all now on 18 count at 24 inches tall (their width varies slightly around 11 inches). This is so that one could do them on 36 count over two, leaving a fine background and making it easy to do the ridiculous amount of half-stitches these require.

Belle started out with 124 colors and now has 41. Magical525 has been an immense help in getting her colors as close as could be to the original artwork provided, which has been a terrible struggle for me even after finishing my thread collection. I want it to be right darnit, everyone who buys this pattern should be happy!! She has beads now and probably won't be gaining metallic threads.

Rapunzel started with 180 colors and now has 51. She has a lot of metallic thread for her embroidery, beads, and Crystaletts www.etsy.com/shop/YadasiBeads for her buttons. I even caved in and used french knots in places (I hate french knots) to get the correct textures. There's also french knots for her eyes since trying to do them as quarter stitches was starting to look silly. Still working on the correct layering for the shading on her skirt but I think she can be put in the "final stage" now. GraniteFire helped me pinpoint the gradient changes.

Meridia started with 210 colors and now has 63. So. Much. Backstitching. She has metallics and beads. The least finished of all three as her colors are still not finalized and I'm still struggling with a proper gradient to get those teals to turn into nice creams. Also: SO. MANY. BEADS. Do you see all those "belts"?! Hannah specifically says they're BEADED which means tons upon tons of tiny size 15 beads to make them sparrrrklleeee~! French knots in her eyes but otherwise avoided.

Current work times: Belle 18.5 hours, Rapunzel 15.5 hours, Meridia 10.5 hours.

Technically yes! I've taken Hannah's original artwork, stretched them out to two feet, and drawn over them stitch by stitch to create the cleaned up versions you see here (best illustrated with Rapunzel's progress I think). If you consider each stitch as a pixel then... yes.

Thank you, I'm glad you think so!

It is! Luckily, I believe Belle and Rapunzel have been given a big thumbs up for quality control from my guinea pig team so that just leaves Meridia!

Thanks so much! Without accuracy I wouldn't stitch them myself, so it's a must!

I am really admiring all the time and effort you and Miss Magical are putting into these charts!

Β I still havenΒ΄t made up my mind when it comes down to picking a favourite but I am sure I will by the time you are done.
Definitely have to stitch at least one of them up.

Thank you! Belle is my personal favorite Disney princess but in this particular race Rapunzel is winning for me - all that scrollwork backstitching is soooo irresistible.
Hopefully these will go well and Hannah will let me tackle the other princesses. Then you can pick from an even larger pool!

Thank you Waterlily! I wanted them done by the end of March but I didn't hit my deadline with all the color corrections. Perfect patterns are worth the wait I think.
