A water spirit in the shape of a heron, that has the appetite of a teenager during their biggest growth spurt. He will not stop trying to eat anything that is smaller than himself, and could (comfortably) fit into his beak; much to Aedan's annoyance. Apart from his endless appetite Corr is a curious spirit with the occasional nugget of wisdom ready for Aedan, though it comes at the most unexpected times. Still, Corr is slightly playful and fully supports everything that Aedan does, having followed the wizard ever since his birth.

Ceallach is a calm, mature, and quiet light spirit that takes the shape of a deer. He acts as a guardian or parenting figure to calm Aedan's temper and help the wizard become more conscious of his faults and how to correct them. One could consider Ceallach as a big brother to Aedan.

History:
Having grown up in the Irish country side, as the son of a fairy doctor, Aedan had his fair share of spirits and spiritual occurences, learning about his connection to the family bloodline from a very early age on. Still, a single mother raising him who happened to be the village weirdo made for a lot of unpleasant comments and talk, Aedan quickly learned to separate his public image from the one he had at home, and picked up interests that took him away from his hometown to finally escape. He did move away to Dublin as soon as he graduated high school to enroll in a college as far away from home as possible. Afterwards he pursued a career in dancing professionally, until one day Corr revealed himself to Aedan, reminding the bitter and vengeful young man of his obligations to his bloodline, resulting in their pact. What he didn't know was that Corr had seen that the real redemption could only be found at Dulcedomum.
After a few months at his now permanent home, Aedan underwent a drastic change. Having reunited with Lucien (the one man he had truly loved) and the events that happened during their shared adventures, he finally made a true friend, and learned to open himself up. This meant unlearning a lot of bad habits and behaviors, but knowing that he had family and a place that he belonged, helped Aedan to remain steadfast and determined to change.
In the two years since the catastrophical Pompeii event, Aedan had learned and grown a lot more; truths that he hadn't been aware of, and that subsequently solved a lot of internal turmoil, but ultimately making him a better person in the end.

There had been so many changes lately, both good and bad, that it was sometimes difficult to remember how much he had achieved in these four years. He'd arrived at a disillusioned, bitter, and resentful person that had hated the world for allowing him to exist the way he did. Back then he would have thought that he had every right to act as callous and malicious as he pleased, after all, everyone lied and hurt each other. He just was better at hiding his nasty side than others. Now though, now he knew better. And he was glad for the lessons he'd learned, difficult as they had been, because now he felt better than before.
There was a calm inside him now, a balance that could still be tipped occasionally, but it was easier to tip it back again and reset. Now mistakes were easier to fix, because he knew that he had people who cared for him and would help him, so that his burdens weren't his own to share. At the same time he was ready to lay down his life for them too. Lucien and Laurence, his boyfriend and best friend respectively, were the pillars to his life and he would do anything they asked of him too. They had something that couldn't be broken, and Aedan hoped that Laurence could find a wizard who would mean the same as he did to both Lucien and himself. Because the praetor deserved happiness too.
Summer vacation couldn't be over soon enough. They were ready to return to their home, where lessons would be waiting for them, but also a reason to become stronger and show the world that they could tackle anything together.
