Old Dan and old Drago is way better than new Dan and new Drago.

...if the series is good, let me know...I still wish Shun remained the same, and not just for being an awesome ninja.

It's pretty good so far. Yeah, things are different, but it's not as bad as all of us thought it would be.
With Shun, I don't have too much to say since he just entered the series a few episodes ago, but his characterization isn't too bad. He's still the opposite of Dan's character and he was even told by someone else that "Shun thinks he's so cool!" which in all honesty was something someone would have said about him in the original series of Bakugan.

Yes, When Bakugan first started out he was treated that way...but he was also given some background about his techniques and even how he got his Bakugan Skyrus...
It still makes me shed a few tears when I see his dying mother give him Skyrus in her last breathing moments.
...
I only hope they stick true to his character and give him a level of depth and development that actually makes it seem CN still cares about their shows.

I'm surprised with the new looks and characters, but hey I missed the old Bakugan days and it warms my heart that I'm seeing it again so I'll watch it though I miss the original series...

Yeah, at least it doesn't look like it'll fall into obscurity any time soon with the reboot. I watched the first two episodes (Which, by the way, are cut into two eleven minute episodes) and it looks good so far. They got Drago's original vice actor to reprise his role, and even though there's a lot more comedy story and character interaction wise, the show seems to be serious when it needs to be. It's also incorporating the humans as apart of the battles since they have to make sure the power ups get to their bakugan without interference and they seem to be putting more emphasis on the whole "with power comes responsibility" motif that they never really touched upon in the original, which made me kind of glad since it's a show about kids who can control monsters.
So far we seem to mainly just have Dan and his friends, Lia and Wynton and their dog Lightning, with the villains and rivals only having a small part so far since they need to set up the setting and stuff. We also caught a glimpse of Shun, though he now holds more of a resemblance to Marucho and we haven't really seen him interact with anyone as of yet. Drago also seems to be more immature, which is in a way, a breath of fresh air since it means he can grow alongside Dan.
