I can see that <3 Say, what's her candy theme? She reminds me of those Japanese sticks with three little round melons (one green, one pink and one white)

You hit the nail on the head It's called a 3-Color Dango, never got to have one before but always liked the look And hence why her name is a combination of that and the word 'go' itself like she's raring for a race~

I never thought they were melons though. There was actually a recipe book I had one time with them in it and they're more or less just fried dough balls with different colorings in them xDDD They're really only made of rice flour :P

Unless you already know alla that and just are referring to them as melons figuratively x,D

Well there's a lot of different variations of them- so I guess I'm not surprised that one of them would be made of melons! xDDD I'm not really fond of melons either so I'd understand the dislike for them
