Description
The world inside of the old asylum was as dark as the outside. Some wandered around aimlesly through the corridor of their twisted minds, while others found comfort in the touch of their fellow inmates. For most of them the institution was the final stop. Beeing together granted a sleight connection with reality or at least it made the stay more hospitable.Related content

Such beautiful and delicate barefoot girls in such a horrible, gloomy and dirty asylum

Yes, they look even more vulnerable in this loathsome enviroment.
I think they are on there way to get to know each other better. Maybe they are to shy at the moment to do more than holding each others hand, but who knows what the future will bring.

Not at all. Although in their current state of mind they maybe wonΒ΄t suffer so much from their surroundings then from their own delusions and nightmares.

Very atmospheric. are the light shafts rendered in your 3d program or were they done in photoshop or something?

The light shafts are drawn, not rendered. I use paint shop pro for this kind of things.

I suspected as much, they look a bit different from the volumetric lights rendered in 3ds max. Great work nevertheless.
