Description
This is a companion piece to Sunset . For both pictures, I first painted the background competely (so the moon and the sky here), and then added the characters in the foreground. I really like how the moon came out, and for once I don't think I went overboard with the stars, yay
I also wanted to draw a Dragonite at first, but then I saw a picture of Jirachi and figured he might fit in better~I thought it would be interesting to try this technique out, so I tried different types of backgrounds, and in both cases, I'm really fond of the outcome

This looks awesome, and I think the song "Space Junk" from Super Mario Galaxy fits a lot for this pic. Really good job.
Also, how about a cave with Sableye and Mawile on it? It can be difficult, but that's my suggestion.

Try to draw prehistoric ocen/sea with Tirtouga jumping out of the water and Aerodactyl flying above. Btw with what did you paint it? Watercolors or something else? and +fav and watch, your drawings are really something!Β Β

i painted it all with watercolours and added shading with white gouache, then i made the stars with tippex, since i didn't wanna use too much gouache :'D and thank you so much for the faves and the watch<33

But seriously, damn. The blue shades are fantastic. My only complaint here is that cliche Jirachi (Jirachi and moon are just so overdone) and you should have went with Dragonite. But other than that, great job! I wish I could paint skies as good as you.

i'm really happy with how the sky turned out myself! i actually used some green for the moon's halo, it's not as much visible here as in the real pic, but it makes the light blue look more neon-ish, which is such a pretty effect :*
i know, jirachi wasn't my most creative choice, but dragonite would have taken up too much space, and i wanted the moon to be completely visible, since i spent ages shading it D:
