Description
This is a companion piece to Moonlight . For both pictures, I first painted the background competely (so the grass and the sky here), and then added the characters in the foreground. Rather than going for the usual sunset-ish background, I tried doing some diagonal ~*creative*~ strokes, but I think it looks kinda nice. I also didn't know what pokemon I should draw at first, then I settled for growlithes upon a random "cute pokemon" google search XDI thought it would be interesting to try this technique out, so I tried different types of backgrounds, and in both cases, I'm really fond of the outcome
If you wanna see more pieces like this, feel free to suggest a background, and what kinda pokemon would fit best in it!

aww thanx! it's really easy, like a sort of "new layer", you just paint over what you've already drawn, you just have to be careful not to ruin everything XD

thank you! the grass is an unholy mess between watercolours and coloured pencils, it's just a pain to do every single stroke, but kinda easy :'D
